Charity Benefit Raffles.

Due primarily to the voluntary efforts of Richard Carriere, the John E. Moran Foundation conducts Charity Benefit Raffles which are truly a "Win - Win - Win".

Obviously, the first two "Wins" are represented by the John E. Moran Foundation and the purchasers of the raffle tickets who feel good about their support and the possibility that one of those tickets may be drawn to win prizes like seats to the Red Sox, Patriots and PPAC, etc. The third "Win" is represented by the various outside organizations that agree to sell tickets within their own networks. These groups realize a 50% commission on all Charity Benefit Raffle tickets sold by their volunteers. Among the organizations that have participated are The Homestead Group (formerly the Arc of Northern RI); The Blackstone Valley Arc; The John E. Fogarty Center; United Cerebral Palsy of RI; Advocates in Action and the Special Olympics teams from Woonsocket and Burrillville. A special thanks also goes out to the North Smithfield Kiwanis Club for underwriting a portion of the expenses associated with this project.
